Ineligibility for a child care payment will result when a member of the TANF budget group is participating in a paid work-related activity and fails to pay the required copayment determined by CCIS. The TANF budget group remains ineligible for a child care payment until overdue copayments are paid or satisfactory arrangements for payment have been made with the provider. 55 Pa. CCIS will send alerts to eCIS on a weekly basis to notify the CAO when child care payment stops or a child’s enrollment terminates, as follows:
087 - Change reported to CCIS - Review Change
088 - Enrollment Changes in CCIS - Ck cc elig - (Check Child Care eligibility)
If the client does not pay the co-payment, CCIS will take the following action:
Issue an adverse action notice to discontinue child care from the date the provider notifies the CCIS of the delinquent co-payment;
Pay through the date the adverse action notice expires;
Notify eCIS via PELICAN of discontinuance and eCIS sets worker alert 088.
Care may resume when the client pays or makes satisfactory arrangements with the provider to pay the delinquent co-payment.
