The CAO worker may use home visits to obtain verification when written evidence or collateral contacts are not sufficient to make an eligibility decision. 7 CFR § 273.2(f)(4)(iii)
The CAO must schedule home visits in advance with the household and have the home visit reviewed/ approved by a supervisor if it is county practice.
