Funds that are held under contract with a financial institution(1) An establishment that furnishes food and shelter to persons unrelated to the owner and provides some needed care or service in addition to food, shelter, and laundry. Examples of institutions are nursing homes, convalescent homes, hospitals, jails, live-in rehabilitation centers, and infirmaries. (2) For SNAP, a facility that prepares and serves at least half of residents' meals (more than 50 percent of three meals daily) as part of its services and has not been authorized to accept SNAP benefits. or funeral director and designated for burial expenses but may be withdrawn prior to the client's death.
