The Intranet Website http://dhhsintra.dpw.pa.us/MAWD/ was created to provide CAOs with the latest real-time information on premium payments. CAOs can use this Website to check premium payment information before taking action on an MAWD budget.

When recipients have questions on premiums due.
When a CIS/e-CIS alert is received that a premium is overdue. The website must be checked before a notice is sent.
Before closing a MAWD budget, after the notice was sent and the appeal period has expired.
Before re-opening a MAWD budget to evaluate if premiums are due.

The following provides information on the Description column and ICONS on the http://MAWD screen.

Premium Overdue - Identifies overdue premium records. |

Insufficient Funds - Identifies payments that were returned to individuals because of insufficient funds in their account. |

OIG - Identifies overdue premium records that will be sent to the OIG for collection. |
|
Premium Not Paid - Identifies that the premium has not been paid. |
|
Premium Paid - Identifies that the regular premium has been paid. |
|
Premium Not Paid, Good Cause - Identifies premium payments that are waived because of good cause. |
|
Retroactive Premium Paid - Identifies retroactive premium payment records. |

Premium Not Paid, Write Off - Identifies payments that the OIG cannot collect the payment. Used after OIG cannot collect payment. Note: If the individual reapplies for MAWD, the CAO must collect the payment prior to authorizing benefits. |

Premium Not Paid, below $10.00 - Identifies premiums that are less than $10.00 and not required to be collected. No payment is required for premiums below $10.00. |
