Presumptive Eligibility

Presumptive eligibility:

(1)  For Healthy Beginnings, 45 days of temporary eligibility for Healthy Beginnings as determined by a qualified provider pending the  determination of eligibility by the CAO.

(2)  For SSI, payment of benefits to an applicant for to three months based on observation of evaluation of preliminary medical evidence.

(3)  For Healthy Horizons, temporary PJ/TJ/PH eligibility for Medical Assistance benefits based on disability pending certification of permanent and total disability by the Social Security Administration (SSA) or The Department of Human Services (DHS's) medical review team.
