A person may not receive SNAP benefits in more than one household, county, or state in the same month. 7 CFR § 273.3
Exception: A resident of a shelter for battered women and children may receive more than one SNAP issuance in a month if the resident was a member of the alleged abuser’s SNAP household. (See Chapter 511.) 7 CFR § 273.11(g)
NOTE: Puerto Rico's Nutrition Assistance Program (NAP) is not equivalent to SNAP. Receipt of NAP benefits can not be considered as duplicate participation in SNAP.
