Each household will receive a Notice of Expiration (PA 10-SFSP) in the automated renewal packet. The CAO must enter the date and time of the interview on the PA 10-SFSP during the automated renewal process.
A PA 10-SFSP is given at the time of renewal to a household that is certified for only one or two months. It may not be used to shorten a household’s current certification period.
The CAO must provide each household with a PA 10-SFSP during the month before the last month of the certification period. This notice must not be sent earlier than the month before the last month of the certification period.
When a cash renewal is due and the household also receives SNAP benefits, the CAO must not shorten the SNAP renewal period. The CAO must process the renewal for SNAP, suppress the notice, and reset the SNAP renewal date to the original renewal due date.
