Besides authorizing an OTI for NCE and ongoing benefits, the CAO must use the OTI to issue supplemental benefits, with the following codes:
106—Retroactive benefit due to administrative error
107—Retroactive benefit due to hearing decision
108—Used to add a person to the household for the full month when the deadline cannot be met
109—Initial benefit/system calculation
112—Issuance of suspended benefits
NOTE: The CAO must use code 112 to issue benefits suspended by the system because of reason code 440 (monthly reporting), 452 (return of two consecutive benefits), or 035 (manual suspension due to a five-pay month). The CAO must confirm the system suspension through the system inquiry screens.
125—Replacement of EBT partial benefit return (see Section 580.51)
126—Replacement of EBT full benefit return (see Section 580.51)
153—NCE benefit, SNAP
157—Change in circumstances/supplemental benefit
NOTE: The CAO must use code 157 to supplement the current month's benefit and increase the next month's benefit when the household's income decreases by $50 or more or when a new member is added to the household. (See Chapter 568.)
158—Restore lost SNAP benefits
NOTE: The CAO must use code 158 when a delay or CAO error results in an underissuance. The benefit is issued to active or inactive households with no effect on current or future benefits. (See Chapter 581.)
183—Refund of ACCESS card replacement fee (see Section 580.53)
188—Expedited SNAP
