Long-Term Care Capitated Assistance Program (LTCCAP)

See "Living Independently for Elders (LIFE) program LIFE is also known as the Long Term Care Capitated Assistance Program. The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) identifies the program as PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly). LIFE allows a designated provider to furnish services to an eligible consumer as long as the individual can live safely in the community. The consumer is moved into a Long Term Care facility when community living is no longer possible. Medicaid and/or Medicare pay the provider a fixed amount for the consumer’s care as a participant in LIFE.."
