DHS now will give households that have registered for a My COMPASS Account online the option to receive notices electronically instead of through paper mail. They will be required to electronically sign a disclosure statement agreeing to receive and read the notices.
Users must provide a valid e-mail address, which will be verified by DHS. Once the user is registered, he or she will receive a confirmation e-mail and a paper notice through the mail with instructions on how to log in to their account to view notices.
My COMPASS Account is on a secure website that will protect the household’s information.
