Use the PA 162-VR when a client has not reported information that appears on the Income Eligibility Verification System (IEVS). Also use the PA 162-VR when information from IEVS or other sources conflicts with the client's statements. The PA 162-VR gives the client 10 calendar days to respond to the information. At the end of this time period, the CAO will verify the information using third party contacts. 45 CFR205.56(c)
After allowing the 10-day response period, if the client refuses or fails to cooperate in resolving the conflict, the CAO will send an Advance Notice proposing discontinuance of benefits.
