The CAO must decide again on whether a specified relative can get MA in a MAGI-related category of MG 27 or a TANF-related MA category when any of the following happens:
The only child or youngest child turns 18 or graduates from or leaves secondary school at age 18.
The child leaves the home or is no longer receiving MA, TANF or SSI.
When any of the above conditions change, the CAO must take the following actions:
1. Decide whether the child still meets the conditions of a dependent child.
2. Check whether there has been any change in the applicant/recipient group, or MAGI-based household and evaluate any changes.
3. Decide whether the specified relative meets conditions for other MA.
NOTE: The CAO must send an advance notice letting the individual know of a change that decreases medical benefits.
