The CAO will send an Advance Notice to an individual in the following situations: 55 Pa. Code § 133.4 (b)(2)
When the individual’s medical benefits are lowered or stopped because of a mass change
When the spend-down amount increases for individuals who qualify for ongoing categorically needy (NMP) spend-down.
When there is a change in category from NMP to MNO.
When the change affects the type and content of Health Care Benefit Package. 55 Pa. Code § 133.4 (b)(1)
