If the individual is in immediate danger: 55 Pa. Code ยง 108.6
Provide a private space to allow the individual to call a domestic violence hotline if requested. Ask the CAO director for help if no private space is available.
The police should not be called unless the victim makes the call or requests the call be made or the abuser poses a danger to others at the CAO.
Offer the individual assistance in making any arrangements related to emergency shelter, medical care, transportation, child care, and work.
