Every so often, state and federal governments make changes that affect a whole caseload or part of a caseload. These changes, known as mass changes, include the following:
Changes in the Family Size Allowance (FSA) for Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and General Assistance (GA) benefits
Changes in federal benefits
Changes in Supplemental Security Income (SSI) limits.
