123.8 Client Whose Whereabouts Are Unknown

If it is not known where a client is and the post office has returned agency mail with no forwarding address, the CAO must do the following:

55 Pa. Code § 133.4(c)(2)(vi)

NOTE: The CAO must review “whereabouts unknown” situations to make sure benefits are not ended when a person is temporarily in the hospital. If they are stopped incorrectly in such a case, the CAO must restore benefits promptly.
