The Pennsylvania Department of Human Services complies with and enforces the laws and regulations (Title VI and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act of 1955, as amended, Executive Order 11246, Executive Order 1972-1, and to applicable agencies Governor's Affirmative Action Program as outlined in Executive Order 1984-1) which prohibit discrimination against persons because of their race, color, religious creed, life style, handicap, ancestry, national origin, union membership, age, or sex.
