The verification of certain items may affect only the eligibility of one budget group member. The CAO must not deny assistance to the other members when the following verifications are not provided within the established time periods and the delay is not due to a third party:
Citizenship or noncitizen status—Only the member whose status is in question is ineligible until verification is provided.
Social Security number—Only the member without a number or an application for a number is ineligible.
NOTE: If Extended TANF, the entire budget group is ineligible when verification of an application for an SSN or an SSN is not provided.
