An individual who is eligible for a Medical Assistance Program which provides payment of the Medicare Part A premium for a working disabled person under age 65 who lost premium-free Part A when they returned to work. A QDWI must have family income which does not exceed 200% of the Federal Poverty Income Guidelines, and resources may not exceed twice the SSI limit. A QDWI is eligible for payment of Part A premiums only, and is not otherwise eligible for Medical Assistance benefits.
