To qualify for a LIHEAP grant, the applicant who signed the PWEA-1 is required to prove certain items of eligibility, such as where the household lives, citizenship of household members and household income. 55 Pa. Code § 601.101; LIHEAP State Plan § 601.101
The applicant also is required to prove information he or she gives to the CAO that appears to be incomplete, unreasonable or inconsistent with the known facts. The CAO will help the applicant get proof if necessary.
If information in the LIHEAP application differs from the information in CIS and e-CIS, the LIHEAP application information must be verified. A pending list should be sent requesting verification of the conflicting information.
