An ineligible member is a person living with the household whose income and resources affect the other household members' eligibility for benefits but who is not included when determining the household's size.
The following are ineligible members:
Persons disqualified for not complying with work requirements
7 CFR § 273.11(c)(1)
Persons disqualified for intentional program violations
Persons disqualified for not providing a Social Security number

Ineligible noncitizens
Ineligible able-bodied adults without dependents (ABAWDs), as described in Section 575.24
An ineligible member is considered a household member for purposes other than determining the household's size and has the same reporting and verification requirements as other household members.

The ineligible member cannot get SNAP benefits as a separate household.
