Persons considered strikers for SNAP purposes include, but are not limited to:
A person involved in a planned work slowdown, stoppage or interruption of work by employees, including work stoppages when a collective bargaining agreement expires
An employee who participates in the strike out of sympathy
An employee who is a nonworking member of the bargaining unit on strike but is on leave at the time of the strike, even if the employee is not a union member and regardless of whether the employee is afraid to cross the picket line
An individual who gets another job while on strike but does not resign from the struck company
A person who does not go back to work when the union calls off the strike and tells the strikers to return to work
An employee of a struck company that has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy
NOTE: A person is considered a striker until he or she goes back to work, is fired, or quits.
