Migrant or seasonal farm workers are assigned a six-month certification period. (See Section 575.22.)

If the migrant or seasonal farm worker household applies after the 15th of the month and is found eligible for expedited benefits, the CAO must certify eligibility for at least the month of application and the following month.

Pending in-state verification must be provided before the CAO can authorize the second month benefit. This may also apply to a third month if the CAO is waiting for out-of-state verification.
