Replacement of food destroyed in a household disaster*

The CAO must determine that food was destroyed.

Food must have been purchased with SNAP benefits.

The disaster must be verified.

Replacement must be requested within 10 days of the disaster.

The amount is limited to a maximum of one month’s benefit.

There is no limit on the number of replacements.

ACCESS card replacement fee deducted in error

If the fee is deducted in error, the CAO may authorize a replacement.
