intermediate care facility for persons with other related conditions (ICF Intermediate care facility./OCR)

A facility that provides health care, rehabilitation, and active treatment services for persons with severe physical developmental delays, such as cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, epilepsy, or similar conditions that were diagnosed before the age of 22 and that result in three or more functional limitations of daily living. Services are not designed for persons with mental illness or mental retardation.
